Select Common Information Main menu > Commodity Code Maintenance. Select a commodity code, and then click Apply.

Use Apply Commodity Code to assign a commodity code to miscellaneous and inventory items. Use the Selection grid to apply commodity codes to a specified range of items. When assigning commodity codes, you have the option to update the lines in open sales orders that include the selected items.
Click the Print button to review the selected items. After previewing or printing the report, a message will ask if you want to apply the changes to the selected items.
Note To apply commodity codes based on product line, use the Apply Product Line Information window accessed through Product Line Maintenance.
