Create Relationship / Maintain Relationship / Promote Company to Customer

In Sage CRM, open the company to create or maintain a relationship for, and then click the Summary tab. Click Maintain Relationship. If the company has a type other than Customer, the Promote Company to Customer window appears; otherwise, the Create Relationship window appears.

Overview

Use Promote Company to Customer to change a Sage CRM company type to Customer and create a relationship with a Sage 100 customer. A company must be promoted to have a type of Customer to be related to a Sage 100 customer. After a company is promoted to a type of Customer and is related to a Sage 100 customer, all prospect quotes for that company are automatically promoted to customer quotes for the related customer.
