Access this window using one of the following methods:

• Select General Ledger Main menu > Account Maintenance. In the Account Maintenance window, on the Transactions tab, select a transaction and click the Journal Drill Down button. In the Journal Drill Down window, click the Extended Comments button.

• Select General Ledger Main menu > Account Maintenance. In the Account Maintenance window, on the Transactions tab, select a transaction and click the Extended Comments button.

The Extended Comments button is available only if the selected row on the Transactions tab or the Journal Drill Down window includes an extended comment.

Overview

Use Extended Comments to view a journal comment that is more than 30 characters for each transaction displayed on the Account Maintenance Transactions tab or the Journal Drill Down window.

The Extended Comments window displays the journal comment displayed in the Posting Remark field on the Account Maintenance Transactions tab, and in the Comment field in the Journal Drill Down window.
