The following information indicates the pricing hierarchy that is followed during sales for an inventory item. The first pricing listed is used first.

• Promotion pricing, if a sales promotion is in effect for the current date and the promotion price is less than the calculated price

• Customer price schedule based on the customer number

• Item pricing by customer price level if one is set up or item pricing by item if a customer price level is not set up

• Item pricing by customer price level in Price Code Maintenance

• Item pricing based on the standard price code in Price Code Maintenance

• Standard price in Item Maintenance
