Select Inventory Requirements Planning > Inquiries > Inventory Requirements Planning Inquiry.
Overview
Use Inventory Requirements Planning Inquiry to view purchase and/or production information for an item, based on the last-completed IRP Generation process.
Fields
Click the Inventory Requirements Planning.
button to select a setting to view. Selection settings are created inClick the
button to view the options selected for the IRP generation.Enter the item code or click the
button to select from a list of items that were generated. Click the button to view, create, or maintain memos. The button is available if you have the appropriate security setup in Memo Manager Maintenance.The item description displays and can only be viewed. Click the
button to view extended descriptions.Select the warehouse code. If the Require Multiple Warehouses check box is cleared in Inventory Management Options, 000 is displayed at this field.
If the procurement type for the setting is Both, you can select a filter to sort by:
- Select Both to filter by production and purchase procurement type.
- Select Production to filter by production procurement type.
- Select Purchase to filter by purchase procurement type.
Note: The filter will be applied when browsing through the items and the Items Being Planned List.
If the procurement type for the setting is Production or Purchase, this field can only be viewed.
Select how to filter the inquiry.
- Select All to include all items.
- Select Items with Requirements to include only items with requirements.
- Select Items w/ Pending Actions to include only items that have an action assigned.
- Select No Demand to include only items with no demand.
Summary purchase and/or production information displays for the selected setting and filter options.
Click the
button to view quantity on hand information. Click the button to view the quantity received, adjusted, sold, issued, transferred, and on hand for the current period. You can also view the item status and item inquiry.Detail purchase and/or production information displays for the selected setting and filter options.
Click the
button to view inquiry information for the selected row, or double-click a selected row to view inquiry information. Click the button to export the contents of the list box to Microsoft Excel. The button is available if Excel is installed on your computer and you have the appropriate security setup.
