Maintain Projected Demands

Select Inventory Requirements Planning > Main > Maintain Projected Demands.
Overview
Use Maintain Projected Demands to manually enter projected demand data. The information entered in this task is then used when calculating demand in the Inventory Requirements Planning task.
Click the
button to copy demand from the prior year.Fields
Enter an item code. Click the Lookup button to view a list of items.
Click the List button to view a list of records on file.
Enter a warehouse code. Click the Lookup button to view a list of warehouse codes.
Enter a customer number. Click the Lookup button to view a list of customers.
Select either a calendar or fiscal year. The available options depend on the selection in the Base Inventory Periods On field in Inventory Management Options.
Select one of the following options:
- Select Week to to enter projected demands by week.
- Select Period to enter projected demands by period.
- Select Month to enter projected demands by month.
You'll have either Month or Period as an option depending on the selection in the Base Inventory Periods On field in Inventory Management Options.
This field displays the period start date for the year selected in the Calendar/Fiscal year field and can only be viewed.
This field displays the quantity sold in the year prior to the one selected in the Calendar/Fiscal Year field. The quantity is also filtered by the customer and warehouse selections, if any.
This field can only be viewed and is not available if Week is selected in the Planning Cycle field.
This field displays the projected demand for the year prior to the one selected in the Calendar/Fiscal Year field. The quantity is also filtered by the customer and warehouse selections, if any.
This field can only be viewed and is not available if Week is selected in the Planning Cycle field.
This field displays the quantity sold for the year selected in the Calendar/Fiscal Year field. The quantity is also filtered by the customer and warehouse selections, if any.
Enter the projected demand for the selected time interval.
The Totals grid shows the totals for the columns in the primary grid, and it can only be viewed.
