Job Estimate Formats

You can use Job Estimate Printing to print job estimates. In addition to the job description and other constant data, each estimate contains the following item detail information: item code, description, "take off" unit of measure, and "take off" quantity. You can choose to print a Job Estimate Recap summarized by cost type. The following is a list of the report formats available.

Pricing information is provided for preparing customer estimates.

Cost and pricing information is provided for preparing customer estimates. The extended cost, total markup amount, and extended price are listed for each item.

A detailed listing of all items, including assemblies, can be printed to verify cost and pricing data. The extended cost, total markup amount, and extended price are listed for each item. Each item of an assembly is listed with the cost type, costing unit of measure, converted costing quantity, markup method, and markup rate.

 

Expand/Collapse item  Job Estimate Recap

A recap can be printed of each estimate summarized by cost type. Any applicable sales tax, burden, and overhead amounts are calculated to obtain the total estimated price and cost. The estimated profit amount and percentage are included. Total units, extended cost, cost per job units, and extended price are listed for each cost type. "Total units" is meaningful only if a consistent unit of measure is used for all items in the cost type.
