U/M

Type the unit of measure by which the unit cost is expressed for the item.

Factor

Type the numerical factor by which the "take off" unit of measure will be multiplied or divided in order to convert to the costing unit of measure. Type / preceding a number to indicate that the factor will be divided by the number (for example, /4). This field is available only if Assembly is selected in the Item Type field.

Unit Cost

Type the unit cost associated with the costing unit of measure (U/M) specified for the item. You can enter two to four decimal places depending on your selection in the Number of Decimal Places in Cost Entries field in the Job Cost Options window.

 

Markup Method

Select a markup method to use.

  • Select Percent to use percentage markup over cost as the markup method.

  • Select Dollar to use dollar markup over cost as the markup method.

  • Select Override to use price override as the markup method.

 

Markup

Type the percentage or dollar amount of the markup. Type a positive number if the cost is to be increased, or type a negative number if the cost is to be decreased. This field is available only if Percent or Dollar is selected in the Markup Method field.

 

Unit Price

Type the override price per unit to be used for the item. You can type from two to four decimal places depending on your selection in the Number of Decimal Places in Price Entries field in Job Cost Options. This field is available only if Override is selected at the Markup Method field.
