Copy Role

Role Template

To copy from a role template, enter the template name or click the Lookup button to view a list of templates.

Note To view a detailed list of permissions available for each role template, print the Role Report and select Role Template Details in the Type of Report to Print field.

 

Existing Role

To copy from an existing role, enter the role name or click the Lookup button to view a list of existing roles.

 

Copy Menu Tasks

Select this check box to copy the task permissions from the selected role or template. Clear this check box if you do not want to copy the task permissions.

 

Copy Security Options

Select this check box to copy the security option settings from the selected role or template. Clear this check box if you do not want to copy the security option settings.

 

Copy SData Security

Select this check box to copy the SData security settings from the selected role or template. Clear this check box if you do not want to copy the SData security settings.

This check box is available only if the Enable Native SData Provider and Access within Role Maintenance check box is selected in System Configuration.

 

Copy ODBC Security

Select this check box to copy the ODBC security settings from the selected role or template. Clear this check box if you do not want to copy the ODBC security settings.

This check box is available only if the Enable ODBC Security within Role Maintenance check box is selected in System Configuration.

This check box is not available in Sage 100 Premium.
