From the Paperless Office Main menu, select one of the following:
- Customer Viewer
- Vendor Viewer
- Employee Viewer
In the viewer window, select one PDF document to email or fax, and then click the Electronic Delivery button. In the Electronic Delivery window, click Edit Message. The Edit Message button is not available if more than one document is selected in the viewer.
Use Edit Message to modify the message to use when sending a PDF document to a customer, vendor, or employee. You can edit the subject and message, and insert merge fields. If you are sending an email, you can attach one or more files to the message.
The message editor uses HTML, the same code used when creating websites, to format the messages. The toolbar includes the options to:
- Change the text color, font, and size
- Use bold or italic text
- Create bulleted and numbered lists
- Insert links and images
Note When you press the Enter key, a new paragraph is created, and paragraphs are surrounded by extra space. To start a new line without extra space above it, press Shift + Enter.
If you copy text from a different text editor, the formatting may also be copied, but be sure to test the email to verify.
The Electronic Delivery Message Listing reflects the message formatting.
Important The final formatting that message recipients will see depends on which email client they're using and whether the email client is set up to display HTML formatting or plain text.
After you edit a message and return to the Electronic Delivery window, a message is displayed next to the Use
