Enter a package number, or click the Lookup button to list all package numbers. New package numbers can be created or existing packages recalled.
This field displays all the items from the Lines tab for the current order (excluding comments and miscellaneous charges). Multiple lines of the same item only appear once in the list box. Kit items and their components are displayed in this field.
This field displays the quantity entered in the Shipped field on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab, and can only be viewed.
Select this check box to include the ordered item in the current package. Clear this check box if you do not want to include the item in the package. This check box is selected automatically when a quantity greater than zero is entered in the Quantity in Package field, and is cleared automatically when zero is entered in the Quantity in Package field.
Enter the quantity of the item to place in the package. This field displays the quantity entered in the Shipped field on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab, but can be changed. You can place the line item in multiple packages and change the quantity. This quantity is printed on the Additional Packing List.
Changes made to the quantity in this field for an item are not validated against quantities entered on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab; therefore, if you make a change to the quantity for an item in the Item Packaging Maintenance window, make sure the change is also reflected on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab.
If you change the quantity in the Shipped field on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab for an item, this field changes only if the item is in one box and the package number for the item matches the Pkg field on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab.
