Running the Parallel Migration Wizard
After completing steps in the Configuring Sage 100 applications section, you're ready to run the Parallel Migration Wizard and complete the following:
- Run Parallel Migration Wizard
- Update Sage 100 configuration
- Install additional components
- Test migrated system
Run Parallel Migration Wizard
To run the wizard
- Open Sage 100.
- Select Library Master Utilities menu > Parallel Migration.
- In the Parallel Migration Wizard, click at the welcome screen.
- At the New Installation Password field, enter the Sage 100 administrator password and click .
- Complete the remaining screens in the Parallel Migration Wizard.
Update Sage 100 configuration
After completing the Parallel Migration Wizard, follow these steps to update the user display for the Sage 100 Desktop status bar.
To update Sage 100 configuration
- Open Sage 100.
- Select Library Master Setup menu > System Configuration.
- Select the Preferences tab.
- Select Name or E-mail Address at the User Display Option field.
Install additional components
To install and configure additional components for the Sage 100 installation
- In File Explorer, browse to E:\AppBuilds for the Sage 100 install files and double-click autorun.exe.
- In the first installation screen, select Productivity Applications and select the application to install.
Test Migrated System
Test the migrated Sage 100 installation to verify all data and additional components are working properly. After you're done testing, see Going Live with Sage 100.
