The Credit Card Processing module is installed automatically with your Accounts Receivable and Sales Order modules. The module appears in the Installed Modules Listing accessed from the Library Master Reports menu, but it does not appear on the module menu.
Certain fields in the Accounts Receivable and Sales Order modules are available or appear only if the Credit Card Processing module is registered and/or if certain settings are made as detailed below:
Credit card processing is enabled on the Company Maintenance Credit Cards tab.
The fields in the Credit Card section of Payment Type Maintenance are available only if Credit Card is selected in the Payment Method field. The Sage Exchange Processing Settings fields are available only if the Enable Credit Card Processing check box is selected in Company Maintenance and Credit Card is selected in the Payment Method field. The Valid Processor Connection check box can only be viewed; the system automatically selects the check box after it successfully validates the virtual terminal ID and merchant key. If the Valid Processor Connection check box is not selected, credit card processing through Sage Exchange is not activated for that payment type. Credit card transactions can still be entered, but will require a manual authorization (for example, by telephone).
The Transaction ID field on the Credit Card tab in Sales Order Entry, S/O Invoice Entry, Cash Receipts Entry, and A/R Invoice Data Entry appear only if the Credit Card Processing module is registered and a valid processor connection was established in Payment Type Maintenance.
