Bill To/Sold To Maintenance

Customer No.

This field displays the customer for which to view detailed national account information and can only be viewed. This customer is also the bill-to customer for the sold-to customers on the Sold To Customers grid.

 

Bill To Customer Grid

Enter data for each corresponding field in the grid.

 

Bill To Customer No.

Enter the bill-to customer number, or click the Lookup button to list all customer numbers.

The customer selected in this field becomes the bill-to customer for the customer in the Customer No. field, and the customer in the Customer No. field becomes the sold-to customer.

If you enter a customer whose status is set to Inactive in Customer Maintenance, a message appears warning that the customer is inactive and cannot be used.

 

Credit Limit

This field displays the credit limit dollar amount for the customer selected in the Bill To Customer No. field and can only be viewed. If the selected customer is on credit hold or has exceeded the credit limit established, a warning message in red appears next to the field. This field is available only if Customer's Credit Limit Only or Both is selected in the Credit Limit Checking field in Accounts Receivable Options.

 

Sold To Customer No.

This field displays the customer in the Customer No. field and can only be viewed. This customer is also the sold-to customer for the bill-to customer selected in the Bill To Customer No. field.

 

Credit Hold

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. If a customer is selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, you can change the default setting. If a customer is not selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, this field automatically defaults to Sold To and can only be viewed.

The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s credit hold is used during data entry for the sold-to customer.

 

Credit Limit

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. If a customer is selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, you can change the default setting. If a customer is not selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, this field automatically defaults to Sold To and can only be viewed.

The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s credit limit is used during data entry for the sold-to customer.

This field is available only if Customer's Credit Limit Only or Both is selected in the Credit Limit Checking field in Accounts Receivable Options.

 

Default Address

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. If a customer is selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, you can change the default setting. If a customer is not selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, this field automatically defaults to Sold To and can only be viewed.

The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s bill-to address is used as the default during data entry for the sold-to customer.

 

Customer Pricing

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. If a customer is selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, you can change the default setting. If a customer is not selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, this field automatically defaults to Sold To and can only be viewed.

The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s pricing is used during data entry for the sold-to customer.

This field is available only if the Inventory Management module is installed and activated.

Note If the Enable Default Price Level by Customer check box is selected and Ship-To Code is selected in the Base New Price Level Records On field in Sales Order Options, this field will default to Sold To and can only be viewed.

 

Terms Code

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. If a customer is selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, you can change the default setting. If a customer is not selected in the Bill To Customer No. field, this field automatically defaults to Sold To and can only be viewed.

The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s terms code is used as the default during data entry for the sold-to customer.

 

Sold To Customers Grid

Enter data for each corresponding field in the grid.

 

Sold To Customer No.

Enter the sold-to customer number, or click the Lookup button to list all customer numbers.

Alternately, start typing a customer name to locate a record. As you type, a list of records matching your entry appears. You can then select a record from the list, and the customer number will appear in the field.

The customer selected in this field becomes the sold-to customer for the customer in the Customer No. field.

 

Name

This field displays the sold-to customer name and can only be viewed.

 

Credit Hold

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s credit hold is used during data entry for the sold-to customer.

 

Credit Limit

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s credit limit is used during data entry for the sold-to customer.

This field is available only if Customer's Credit Limit Only or Both is selected in the Credit Limit Checking field in Accounts Receivable Options.

 

Default Address

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s bill-to address is used as the default during data entry for the sold-to customer.

 

Customer Pricing

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s pricing is used during data entry for the sold-to customer. This field is available only if the Inventory Management module is installed and activated.

Note If Price Level By Customer Maintenance is enabled and Ship-To Code is selected in the Base New Price Level On field in Sales Order Options, this field will default to Sold To and can only be viewed.

Select a default value for the sold-to customer. The selection made in this field determines which (bill-to or sold-to) customer’s terms code is used as the default during data entry for the sold-to customer.
