Asset Account Maintenance - Fields

Account No.

Enter the general ledger account number to use with Sage Fixed Assets, or click the Lookup button to list all general ledger account numbers. You can select only account numbers already set up in General Ledger.

Note Sage Fixed Assets refers to the fixed assets product used with Sage 100.

Account Description

This field displays the description of the general ledger account entered in the Account No. field and can only be viewed.

Account Type

Select an account type for the account number selected. You can select a different account type for the account than the type selected in Account Maintenance.

Select Asset Account to use the selected account for assets.

Select Expense Account to use the selected account for expenses.

Select Accumulated Depreciation use the selected account for accumulated depreciations.
