Select Payroll Setup menu > Department Maintenance. In the Department Maintenance window, click Deductions.

Overview

Use Deductions by Department Worked to enter an unlimited number of deduction codes for the selected department. Enter a general ledger accrual account number for each deduction code to use when posting amounts for this department.
