Expand/Collapse item  Overview

You can recalculate customer high balances when you print statements or when you perform Period End Processing. Calculating high balances during Statement Printing updates the high balance for selected customers based on the date specified. Calculating high balances with Period End Processing updates high balances for all customers based on the date specified and includes all invoices on file, future transactions, and payments.

In both Statement Printing and Period End Processing, you can specify a date earlier than the current period; however, the high balance will reflect the most current period in which these processes have been run.

You can also update customer high balances by accessing Statement Printing from the Customer Maintenance Invoice tab. Printing a statement from Invoice tab only updates the customer high balance for the customer selected.
