Expand/Collapse item  Overview

You can purge records from the Activity Log using the Activity Log Purge utility or directly from the Activity Log window by clicking the Purge button.

Records can be purged if they are older than the number of days entered in the Minimum Days to Keep field in the Activity Log Purge Configuration window.

The purged records are either archived or deleted, depending on the selection in the Purge Action field in the Activity Log Purge Configuration window. If the records are archived, you can still view them. For more information, see View Purged Activity Log Records.

You can automate the purging process using Task Scheduler. For more information, see Schedule a Task.
