Using the Chart Tab

Use the Chart tab to view data in a chart layout view. You can represent the data in bar, line, area, or pie format. Any numeric column from the Data View grid can be used as a chart series. The column does not need to be visible on the Data View grid to be used as a series on the Chart tab.

On the Chart tab, the right-click menu allows you to copy the chart to the Windows Clipboard in graphical format. After copying the chart to the Clipboard, you can then paste the chart into another application, such as Word or Paint. You can also use the right-click menu to access the Filter Builder to further filter the data as well as access the Options window to change data settings.

To rearrange the order in which bars display in bar charts, clear the series items in the Series field, and then re-select the series items in the order you want them to appear. You can also click the legend to toggle the order that the bars appear in.
