Display Focus Rectangle Around Current Grid Rows

Select this check box to display focus in the form of a black dotted rectangle around the currently selected rows in the Data View grid. Clear this check box if you do not want to display a focus rectangle around the currently selected rows in the Data View grid.

Allow Cell Focus to Move to Next or Previous Row When Using Arrow Keys

Select this check box to allow cell focus to move to the next or previous row when using the arrow keys. For example, if you press the LEFT arrow key and continue to press the key until focus reaches the first column, continuing to press the LEFT arrow key shifts focus to the last column of the previous row. Likewise, if you press the RIGHT arrow key and continue to press the key until focus reaches the last column in the row, continuing to press the RIGHT arrow key shifts focus to the first column of the next row. Clear this check box if you do not want cell focus to move to the next or previous row when using the arrow keys.

Display Cell Text Popups When Value is Cropped

Select this check box to display popup text for the column showing the full text for the cell if the entire text is not currently visible in the cell. Clear this check box if you do not want to display popup text for the column if the entire text is not currently visible in the cell.

Prompt to Save Changed Setting

Select this check box to be prompted to save changes to the current setting when navigating to another view or closing the Business Insights Explorer window. Clear this check box if you do not want to be prompted to save changes.

Display Data View Navigator Buttons

Select this check box to display a series of small navigation buttons in the lower left corner of the Data View grid. Clear this check box if you do not want to display a series of small navigation buttons in the lower left corner of the Data View grid.

Display Preview Navigator Buttons

Select this check box to display a series of small navigation buttons in the lower left corner of the Preview pane. Clear this check box if you do not want to display a series of small navigation buttons in the lower left corner of the Preview pane.

Data

Automatically Load Data View Setting When Loaded or Changed

Select this check box to automatically refresh the data when a view setting is loaded or changed. Clear this check box if the data must be manually refreshed.

Limit Row Count

Select this check box to limit the row count in the Data View grid and the Preview pane based on the entry made at the Maximum Number of Rows field. This is especially useful for large sets of data. Clear this check box if you do not want to limit the row count in the Data View grid and the Preview pane.

Maximum Number of Rows

Enter the maximum number of rows to use for the limit row count in the Data View grid and the Preview pane. This field is available only if the Limit Row Count check box is selected.

Display Message When Limit Reached

Select this check box to display a message that the row count limit has been reached. Clear this check box if you do not want to display a message that the row count limit has been reached. This field is available only if the Limit Row Count check box is selected.

Apply System Color to Every Other Row in Data View Grid

Select this check box to apply the system-defined color to every other row of the Data View grid. Clear this check box if you do not want to apply the system-defined color to every other row of the Data View grid.

Apply System Color to Every Other Row in Preview Pane

Select this check box to apply the system-defined color to every other row of the Preview pane. Clear this check box if you do not want to apply the system-defined color to every other row of the Preview pane.

Apply System Color to Data View Group Rows

Select this check box to apply the system-defined color to groups of rows in the Data View grid. Clear this check box if you do not want to apply the system-defined color to groups of rows in the Data View grid.

Apply System Color to Data View Footer Rows

Select this check box to apply the system-defined color to the summary and group summary rows in the Data View grid. Clear this check box if you do not want to apply the system-defined color to the summary and group summary rows in the Data View grid.

Font for Data View Grid and Preview Pane Cells

Select the font to use in the Data View grid and the Preview pane.

E-Mail

Web Page

Select this option to specify that the e-mail use a web page format.

Excel Workbook

Select this option to specify that the e-mail use an Excel workbook format.

Text File

Select this option to specify that the e-mail use a text format.

Chart

Display Series Values

Select this check box to display series values on the chart displayed. For more information about creating a chart, see Create a Chart from Data in the Data View Grid.

Display Legend

Select this check box to display a legend on the chart displayed. For more information about creating a chart, see Create a Chart from Data in the Data View Grid.
