Copy Price Levels by Customers

Use this procedure to copy price levels for individual customers or multiple customers.

The customer you are copying from must have existing product line/price levels defined.

 

Use the following procedures to copy price levels by customer:

To copy product line/price level records using Price Level by Customer Copy

To copy product line/price level records using Copy From

 

To copy product line/price level records using Price Level by Customer Copy

  1. Select Accounts Receivable Setup menu > Price Level by Customer Copy.

  2. Enter the copy-from customer. For more information, see Price Level by Customer Copy - Fields.

  3. To copy all product line/price level records displayed for the copy from customer, click the Select All button to select the Copy check box for all records. To copy a single product line/price level record, select the Copy check box for that product line/price level record.

  4. In the Copy To grid, enter the operand and value to specify the criteria for the copy-to customers.

  5. Select the Overwrite Existing Product Line/Price Level Records check box to check if the same product line/price level records that are being copied already exists for the copy-to customers. The copy process will automatically overwrite those records; otherwise, clear this check box.

  6. Click Proceed. Perform one of the following when a message appears.

  7. To print or preview a listing for the selected records, click Print.

  8. To proceed with the copy process without printing or previewing a listing for the selected records, click Continue.

After the copy process is completed, the product line/price level records using Price Level by Customer Copy are copied to the selected customers.

To copy product line/price level records using Copy From

  1. Select Accounts Receivable Main menu > Customer Maintenance.

  2. Select the copy-to customer. For more information, see Customer Maintenance - Fields.

  3. Click the drop-down button and select Price Level.

  4. In Price Level by Customer Maintenance, click Copy From. For more information, see Price Level by Customer Maintenance - Fields.

  5. In the Copy From (Price Level by Customer Maintenance) window, in the Customer Number field, select the customer to copy from. For more information, see Copy From (Price Level by Customer Maintenance) - Fields.

  6. To copy all product line/price levels records, click the Select All button to select the Copy check box for all records. To copy a single product line/price level record, select the Copy check box for that product line/price level record.

  7. Select the Overwrite Existing Product Line/Price Level Records check box to check if the same product line/price level records that are being copied already exist for the copy-to customer. The copy process will automatically overwrite those records; otherwise, clear this check box.

  8. Click OK. Perform one of the following when a message appears.

  9. To print or preview a listing for the selected records, click Print.

  10. To proceed with the copy process without printing or previewing a listing for the selected records, click Continue.

After the copy process is completed, the product line/price level records using Copy From are copied to the selected customer.
