Select Serial Numbers by Range
Select this check box, and then click Select to display all available serial numbers for the item and warehouse to distribute. Clear this check box if you are entering a range of serial numbers.
Note If the All check box is selected, expired serial numbers or serial numbers with a return-by, sell-by, or use-by date (whichever is applicable based on the type of transaction) that has already past are not automatically selected. You can manually select the serial numbers, but only if you have the appropriate security set up.
Enter a starting serial number for the range, or click the Lookup button to list all serial numbers.
Enter an ending serial number for the range, or click the Lookup button to list all serial numbers. Click Select to display the range of available serial numbers for the item and warehouse to distribute.
This field displays the available serial numbers for the selected item and warehouse, and can only be viewed.
This field displays the available quantity for the serial number listed, and can only be viewed.
This field displays the remaining quantity to distribute for this item, and can only be viewed.
Click Unselect All to clear all serial numbers in the list. Click Delete Selected Rows to clear the selected serial numbers in the list.
Expiration Date
This field displays the expiration date and can only be viewed.
Return-By Date
This field displays the last date by which returns are accepted and can only be viewed. You cannot process a return for the item after this date unless you have the appropriate security setup.
The return-by date is calculated based on settings in Item Maintenance. If a return-by date is not calculated, the expiration date is used instead.
This field may not be available depending on what type of transaction you are processing and whether a return-by date is calculated for this item based on settings in Item Maintenance.
Sell-By Date
This field displays the sell-by date and can only be viewed. You cannot sell an item after this date unless you have the appropriate security setup.
The sell-by date is calculated based on settings in Item Maintenance. If a sell-by date is not calculated, the expiration date is used instead.
This field is available depending on what type of transaction you are processing and whether a sell-by date is calculated for this item based on settings in Item Maintenance.
Use-By Date
This field displays the use-by date and can only be viewed. You cannot use an item after this date unless you have the appropriate security setup.
