Navigation

In any data entry window that allows serial distribution, select a line item with a serial number associated with it. If the Lot/Serial Number Distribution window does not appear, click the Lot/Serial Distribution button. In the Lot/Serial Number Distribution window, select the Select Serial Numbers by Range button.

Note This task is available only for serial items.

Overview

Use Select Serial Numbers by Range to display and select a range from the available serial numbers for the item and warehouse to distribute.

Serial numbers are distributed automatically, beginning with the starting serial number until the total quantity for the item is distributed or until the serial number exceeds the ending serial number specified.
