Expand/Collapse item  Overview

An item is any element of a panel that can be moved or changed in some way by the Customizer module. Items that perform a function (as opposed to static text and frames) are also referred to as controls. The following items can be modified using Customizer: buttons, check boxes, drop boxes, folders, frames, grids, list boxes, multi-lines, radio buttons, and text.

To resize the item on the panel, double-click and drag the item, or click the item and press CRTL + the UP or DOWN ARROW key. A blue rectangle appears around the item as you are resizing it.

  3. Click the Exit button to exit the panel. The system prompts you to save your changes. Click OK.

The item's properties are modified. After making custom changes, verify that the item functions correctly.
