Select Budget Columns

Budget/Activity

Select the budget(s) to display in Budget Maintenance. This field displays budgets defined in the General Ledger Options window. You can also select actual posting activity (net transaction history) for a fiscal year. If Activity is selected for any fiscal year, the Activity field in the Budget Maintenance window can only be viewed. For more information, see Select Budgets to View.

To hide a budget or an activity column currently displayed in the Budget Maintenance window, select the budget or activity and click the Delete Row button. The first budget selected must contain a valid budget or activity and cannot be deleted.

 

Fiscal Year

Select the fiscal year of the budget or activity selected in the Budget/Activity field. For example, if Original is selected in the Budget/Activity field and 2003 is selected in this field, the Original Budget for fiscal year 2003 displays in the Budget Maintenance window for the selected account. The number of past fiscal years that you can view budgets and activity for is determined by the selection in the Years to Retain General Ledger History field in the General Ledger Options window.
