Scheduling Minimum Time Periods

When activity information is entered for a work ticket, the total time required to complete an activity is calculated for each step. This time is displayed in the Extended Time field on the Work Ticket Entry Steps tab. When small quantities of products are processed, the calculated time required to complete an activity may be unrealistically short.

Use the Minimum Scheduling Time Period (Minutes) field in the Work Center Maintenance window to specify the minimum amount of time that you want to schedule for any activity at a work center. This field is used for scheduling purposes only.
