Select Production Management Setup menu > Status Code Maintenance.
Use Status Code Maintenance to create status codes that are used to track the progress of work tickets.
A status code can be assigned to a work ticket step in the following tasks.
Enter a status code that can be assigned to a work ticket step.
A status code is assigned to a work ticket step when a work ticket or new step is created and when a work ticket is closed.
Note The following status codes are automatically created: New, Com, HLD
Enter a description for the status code.
Select a hold status for the status code.
- Select Yes to indicate that the step will be on hold when the status code is assigned to the step.
- Select No to indicate that the step will not be on hold when the status code is assigned to the step.
- Select Purchase to indicate that the purchase orders are not issued from Production Management for item codes assigned to the work ticket steps.
Note In Labor Entry, you cannot allocate labor to a step that is assigned to a work ticket if the work ticket is on hold.
