Use the following procedure to set up the Quick Print feature for sales orders, picking sheets, and shipping labels in Sales Order Entry and COD labels in Sales Order Invoice Data Entry.

The appropriate selections must be made in Sales Order Options to allow printing of sales orders, picking sheets, and labels. For more information, see Sales Order Printing (Quick Print), Picking Sheet Printing (Quick Print), Shipping Label Printing (Quick Print), and COD Label Printing (Quick Print).

 

To set up the Quick Print feature for sales orders, picking sheets, shipping labels, and COD labels

  1. Select Sales Order Setup menu > Sales Order Options.

  2. Click the Quick Print tab.

  3. In the Redisplay Source Document After Quick Printing section, select one or more check boxes to view the corresponding source documents in the applicable data entry window after printing using the Quick Print feature. For more information, see Sales Order Options - Fields.

  4. Select the Picking Sheet After Quick Printing Sales Order check box to be prompted to print a picking sheet immediately after printing a sales order using the Quick Print feature.

  5. Select the Picking Sheet Only for Default Warehouse check box to use the Quick Print feature to print picking sheets only if the warehouse code on the Header and Lines tabs match the default warehouse code defined in Sales Order Options for all inventory items.  

  6. Select the Shipping Labels After Quick Printing Picking Sheet to be prompted to print shipping labels after using the Quick Print feature to print picking sheets.

  7. Select the COD Labels After Quick Printing S/O Invoice to be prompted to print COD labels after quick printing an invoice in Sales Order Invoice Data Entry.

  8. Select the Quick Print Without Displaying Printing Window check box to bypass the printing window when quick printing sales orders, picking sheets, and shipping labels.

  1. Click Accept.

The Quick Print feature is now set up for the Sales Order module.
