Installing Sage 100 applications
After completing the prerequisites in the Before you start parallel migration section, perform the following:
- Install Sage 100 version 2023 or later
- Install Sage 100 version 2023.x or later product update
- Install Sage 100 version 2023 or later hot fixes
- Install Sage 100 Payroll
- Uninstall Sage Advisor Update
Install Sage 100
To install Sage 100 2023 or later
Note: In the following steps, xxxx is the version of Sage 100 installed.
- In File Explorer, browse to E:\AppBuilds for the Sage 100 2023 or later install files, double-click autorun.exe, and click Install Sage 100 xxxx on the first install screen.
- At the Welcome screen, click .
- At the 64-bit Operating System Detected screen, complete one of the following:
- If your existing Sage 100 installation is a 32-bit version, select the Install 32-Bit Sage 100 option and click Next.
- If your existing Sage 100 installation is a 64-bit version, select the Install 64-Bit Sage 100 option and click Next.
Note: All add-ons you install must be compatible with the bit option selected. For example, if you're installing the 64-bit version of Sage 100, all add-ons must be 64-bit compatible.
- At the Architecture screen, select the Stand-Alone or LAN option.
- At the License Agreement screen, review and accept the license agreement, and then click .
- At the Product Registration screen, enter the registration information and click .

At the Module Selection screen, select to install all modules but do not select demo data companies, and then click
- At the Change Current Destination Folder screen, change the current install destination folder to C:\Sage\Standard_xxxx\MAS90 and click .
- At the Module Selection screen, verify the install path is C:\Sage\Standard_xxxx\MAS90 and click .

- At the Create Administrator Password screen, enter the Sage 100 administrator password for your business and confirm the password. Click .

At the Sage 100 Integration Engine Service screen, complete the following to configure the service:
Note: If you're not using Sage CRM, you can click to bypass configuring the Sage 100 Integration Engine.
- The user name defaults to the current user. Change the user name to the local Windows user created in the prerequisites.
- Enter the password for the local Windows user.
- Enter the Port ID to use for the Integration Engine service; the port must not be assigned to any other processes. An existing Sage 100 installation will have already used the default port 8888, so a different port must be entered.
- Click .
- At the Product Enhancement Program screen, click .
- At the Start Installation screen, click to begin the installation process.
Install Sage 100 product update
To install Sage 100 product update for version 2023 or later
- In File Explorer, browse to E:\AppBuilds for the Sage 100 product update install files and double-click the executable to install the Sage 100 product update.
- At the Welcome screen, click .
- At the Warning: Create System Backup screen, click .
- At the License Agreement screen, click .
- At the Scan Data Files screen, click .
- At the Ready to Install the Program screen, click to begin the installation process.
- At the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, click .
Install Sage 100 hot fixes
Install Sage Partner Cloud hot fixes for the Sage 100 version installed, and then install Sage 100 hot fixes for the product update installed.
To install Sage 100 hot fixes for the product update
- In File Explorer, browse to E:\AppBuilds for the Sage 100 hot fixes and install any hot fixes for the Sage 100 product update you installed.
- At the Welcome screen, click .
- At the License Agreement screen, click .
- At the Ready to Install the Program screen, click to begin the installation process.
- At the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, click .
Install Sage 100 Payroll
Note: If your business does not use Sage 100 Payroll, skip forward to Uninstall Sage Advisor Update.
To install Sage 100 Payroll
- In File Explorer, browse to E:\AppBuilds for the Payroll install files and double-click Sage Payroll.exe to begin the installation process.
- At the Welcome screen, click .
- At the License Agreement screen, click .
- At the Choose Destination Location screen, verify the destination folder is C:\Sage\Standard_xxxx\MAS90 (xxxx is the version of Sage 100 installed) and click .
- At the Password screen, enter an administrator password and click .
- At the Ready to Install the Program screen, click to begin the installation process.
- At the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, click .
Uninstall Sage Advisor Update
The Sage Advisor Update service will trigger error messages for every non-administrative user who connects to the site and must be uninstalled.
To uninstall Sage Advisor Update
- At the far right of the taskbar in the notification area, right-click the Sage Advisor Update and stop the service.
- Exit Sage Advisor Update.
- At the taskbar search box, enter Settings and click the Settings app.
- In the Apps and features list, select Sage Advisor Update and click .
- Exit the Settings app.
