What's New in Sage Partner Cloud Sage 100
The following improvements have been made to Sage Partner Cloud Sage 100.
April 2025
On the Sage 100 home page Site Bar, site filter options have been added. The options appear if you're managing 13 or more sites, and include a filter operation selector and an input field to refine the site list.
Also, site names are now sorted alphabetically, and a scroll bar automatically appears in the site list display if needed.
August 2024
In the Sage Provisioning Portal, the Sage Partner Cloud product versions for Sage 100 2024.1 using the ProvideX database and Sage 100 2024.1 SQL are now available.
The Sage Partner Cloud product version for Sage 100 2022.1 using the ProvideX database is no longer available.
February 2024
In the Sage Provisioning Portal, the Sage Partner Cloud product version for Sage 100 2023.1 SQL is now available.
Recommended virtual machine size for Sage 100 SQL site
In the Sage Provisioning Portal, when adding a site for the Sage 100 SQL product, we recommend switching off the Platform suggested size for the the virtual machine and selecting the custom size Large Standard_B8ms for optimal performance. The Sage Partner Cloud Sage 100 application has been updated with the new Sage logo, fonts, and color scheme.
The following changes have been made to the home page:
- A new Site Bar has been added under the toolbar.

The Site and Mode fields previously on the toolbar have been moved to the Site Bar.
Note: If you're accessing the home page using a browser other than Microsoft Edge, the Mode field does not display and applications launch in Browser Mode by default.

In the Sage Provisioning Portal, the Sage Partner Cloud product version for Sage 100 2023.1 using the ProvideX database is now available.
The Sage Partner Cloud product version for Sage 100 2021.1 using the ProvideX database is no longer available.

Operating system version for Sage 100 virtual machine
In the Sage Provisioning Portal on the Site Details page, the Notes field now displays the operating system version for the virtual machine on which Sage 100 is installed.
For example, OS 10.0.17763 (KB4589208 Update 08/16/2022); Standard 2022 (7.10.1.0) displays at the Notes field, indicating that the operating system was last updated 08/16/2022. This information is useful when contacting Sage Support.
Remote desktop protocol applications persist
When logging out or session time-out from the Sage Partner Cloud Sage 100 home page, remote desktop protocol (RDP) applications no longer close automatically. RDP applications persist and remain open.

Trusted publisher for Windows Mode
The remote desktop protocol (RDP) Launch file is signed with the Sage 100 certificate for trusted publisher when launching an application using Microsoft Edge in Windows Mode. At the "Do you trust the publisher of this RemoteApp program?" message, you can select the Don't ask me again for remote connections from this publisher check box to suppress this prompt for future application launches.

Sage Provisioning Portal Replicate operation for Sage 100
A Replicate operation has been added to the Sage Provisioning Portal for Sage 100 sites. You can use this operation to create a new site based on an existing one. The new site can use the same version of Sage 100 as the original site, or you can select a later version. The data from the original site will be attached as a separate drive on the new site for use with migration, and the existing users from the original site are added to the new site as specified. For more information, see Replicating a Site for Sage 100.

In the Sage Provisioning Portal, the Sage Partner Cloud product version for Sage 100 2022.1 using ProvideX database is now available.
Note: As of Sage 100 2022, Sage 100 in Sage Partner Cloud is installed as a 64-bit version. If you need to run the 32-bit version of Sage 100, run the 32/64-bit Switch utility. For more information, see the Upgrade Guide on the Sage 100 Documents page.

The following changes were made in the Sage Provisioning Portal in April.
Sage Provisioning Portal log messages
The Sage Provisioning Portal logs contain messages about operations performed on Sage 100 sites. These messages contain the operation name, the activity process, and—if applicable—any data related to that activity. A status is included at the end of each message. The statuses are:

Executing

Completed
-
Faulted
If an operation's status is Faulted, the faulting activity is shown in the logs. This information may be useful if you need to contact Sage Support.
Lock and unlock users at the site level
You can go to the user section on a site details page to lock or unlock a user.
Support for apostrophes in user names
You can perform operations for users whose names include an apostrophe.

Updates have been made to support the display of the Sage 100 version in the Notes field on the Site Details page in the Sage Provisioning Portal.
Important! In addition to these updates, you must install the program fix for the applicable version of Sage 100 on the site's virtual machine. For more information and to download the program fix, see one of the Sage Download Center articles listed below:

Sage 100 demo data is now installed separately from Sage 100. You can install demo data by running the Sage 100 2021 Data program. The program is stored in the ..\SageData\Add-ons folder on the site's virtual machine.
December 2021
If you have access to your site's virtual machine, you can now display it on multiple monitors. Note that you must use the Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer browser and select Windows Mode in the toolbar to use this option.
Additional options are available if you're using Edge. You can have the virtual machine span all of your monitors or select which ones to use. The multiple monitor options are available on the ). The option to use only one of your monitors is still available and is used by default.

- The home page has been redesigned.
- The Desktop mode option for running applications has been renamed Windows mode.
- The fields to select a site and a mode of running applications have been relocated to the heading section of the window.
- You can use the Microsoft Edge browser to access applications using Windows mode.
- You can add application cards to the home screen using the Dynamic Cards feature.
- A Manage Sites link has been added, which you can click to access the Sage Provisioning Portal.
