Select Inventory Management Main menu > Transaction Register. Click Print. A message appears asking if you want to print the Back Order Fill Report. Click Yes.

This report is available only if the Sales Order module is integrated with Inventory Management, and if receipt transactions for items on back order were entered in Transaction Entry.

Overview

The Back Order Fill Report lists any back order type sales orders that can be filled as a result of receipts entered in Transaction Entry. The quantity received, a list of back orders, and the back order quantity that can be filled are shown for each item. Back-ordered quantities on standard sales order types can be included by selecting the Include Backordered Lines on Back Order Reports check box in Sales Order Options.

This report includes work ticket material requirement information if the Production Management module is set up, the Print WTs on Back Order Fill Report check box is selected in Production Management Options, and if receipt transactions for the items required for work tickets were entered.
