This field displays the selected employee number and can only be viewed.

In the Deduction Detail window, this field displays the selected deduction code and can only be viewed.
This field displays the deduction type selected in Deduction Code Maintenance and can only be viewed.
This field displays the calculation method selected in Deduction Code Maintenance and can only be viewed.
Select this check box to apply this deduction when taking automatic deductions in Payroll Data Entry. Clear this check box to manually apply the deduction.
If this deduction is a fixed dollar amount, enter that amount here. If the deduction is calculated as a percentage of another value (for example, gross wages), enter the percentage rate here.
This field defaults from the Standard Amount/Rate field in Deduction Code Maintenance but it can be changed. You can also change this value in Payroll Data Entry.
This field is not available for deductions using the "Equal to Earnings Code(s)" calculation method.
Enter the maximum amount that can be deducted for the year. When this amount is reached, the deduction will no longer be applied for the remainder of the year.
This field defaults from the Standard Limit field in Deduction Code Maintenance but it can be changed.
This field displays the amount in the Goal field less the year-to-date deduction total and can only be viewed.
This list box displays the monthly and year-to-date totals for the deduction. You can edit the monthly amounts for the current year only.
If the deduction is included in a combined deduction limit code, the Other field displays the combined year-to-date total for the other deduction codes in the combined limit code. Click the Other Deduction Detail button to view the breakdown for the year-to-date deduction amount of each deduction code in the combined limit.
Note The Other Deduction Detail button is available only if the selected deduction code is included in a combined limit code.
