Select Payroll Setup menu > Benefit Schedule Maintenance.

Overview

Use Benefit Schedule Maintenance to establish and maintain schedule codes to identify benefit accrual methods, limits, and carry-over allowances for all three benefit types. When these codes are assigned to each employee in Employee Maintenance, benefits can be accrued automatically during the payroll update and during year-end processing, or it can be accrued at any user-defined interval using Periodic Benefit Accrual.

Note If a third user-defined benefit type is not defined in Payroll Options, the fields for the third benefit type will not appear.

Click Apply to apply changes to the employees who are assigned to the selected schedule. After entering benefit schedules, click the Print button to print the Benefit Schedule Listing.
