Change an Employee PDF Password

You can change the password given to an employee to view their direct deposit stubs. The password can be updated in either Employee Maintenance or in Employee Self Service.

For information about generating passwords for all employees who do not have passwords, see Generate Employee PDF Passwords.

 

To change an employee PDF password in Employee Maintenance

  1. Select Payroll Main menu > Employee Maintenance.

  2. In Employee Maintenance, enter the employee number. For more information, see Employee Maintenance - Fields.

  3. Click Direct Deposits.

  4. In the Direct Deposits window, click Paperless. For more information, see Direct Deposits - Fields.

  5. In the Paperless Office Delivery Options window, in the Password field, type the password to use. For more information, see Paperless Office Delivery Options (Employee Maintenance) - Fields.

  6. Click Accept.

The password is updated.

 

To change an employee PDF password in Employee Self Service

  1. Select Paperless Office Main menu > Employee Self Service.

  2. In Employee Self Service, enter all employee information. For more information, see Employee Self Service - Fields.

  3. Click Change Password.

  4. In the Change Password window, type the new password. For more information, see Change Password - Fields.

  5. Click OK. In Employee Self Service, click Accept.

The password is updated. The new password is updated to the Employee Delivery Options file when you click Accept in Employee Self Service.
