Apply Restocking Charges

Select this check box to automatically calculate restocking charges for each item using the restocking method. Clear this check box if you do not want to automatically calculate restocking charges.

If you are receiving an existing RMA or modifying an existing receipt, clearing this check box does not automatically clear the restocking charges for items on the Lines tab. In addition, for existing RMAs, if you select this check box, restocking charges are not automatically recalculated and a message appears notifying you that changing this check box will not affect the restocking charges within the lines.

Note Restocking charges are administrative charges that may be charged to the customer to return merchandise. These charges appear on credit memos to offset the credit amount issued to the customer.
